Not because I wouldn't have been interested, but I was simply too busy to set time aside for CPD.

Unless you count actual hands-on working as "professional development". Which I kind of do.
Last year I attended a meeting which lasted about 2 hours about a client's new online platform, so that probably counts as well.

But mainly on the business/administration side of things. And both on the receiving and giving end (best way to learn about a thing is to be asked to give a seminar about it, even if it's bad for your blood pressure!).

I attended a university course to learn about developments in Maltese and followed some courses on Coursera on Marketing, Finance (to help me with record keeping) and writing skills to write a book. I did not finish the latter as I got caught up with work and had no time to spare to watch the videos and do the work but the university course was more intensive than I had imagined it would be. I intend doing the second part of the course next year.

It is obligatory for certified translators in Australia to complete a certain number of CPD activities each year (well, technically, every 3 years but it would be hard to meet the requirements within one year only). I do not count in hours because each activity has a certain number of points. I would say, on average, I spend about 10 hours every year.

For a while, CPD may be very useful, perhaps even necessary, for the person to be acquainted with their market, its trends and processes, etc. But after a certain number of decades as a professional in the area, there will hardly be any need to do this in a specific manner, such as in courses, webinars and the like, because we're doing this constantly. When we hear about some trend or change in the market, we go after it immediately. Didn't we all (those older than 40) learn how to use them CAT... Learning a new CAT tool is a CPD activity. I am also surprised that it is counted by hours. In my opinion, it is a wrong way to measure it. CPD can be something that you encounter in your work and realize that you need to learn more about it. The you select your sources, read an article or guidance, some may even attend a workshop if they find it helpful, and then reflect on this learning how it helps in your current work and what else you could potentially learn in future. Then you can record your learning experience and reflections as a proof.
