Progress bars ... not progressing

WF5 Windows.
Too often to ignore (spellchecking) progress bars will freeze, at 93% or right now at 1%.
Clicking on Cancel does not work.
Only option: Ctrl Alt Delete for Windows Task Manager, and then ending the "Open JDK Platform binary" process.

If lucky, the program will show "Unsaved data detected" when reopening, and it may "recover" the last edits.
No idea which edits the program will not recover, and that means redoing the last tasks again.

A rather stupid way of wasting time.

I will strictly follow what WF5 Help says under "Save a File":

As you work on a file, frequently save your changes to a local folder.
