I used to be one of those naive translators/ interpreters who tried to please clients by charging below standard; pretending that I was fine with such payment and money was not my only target in life.
I was then constructively advised by my senior friend that doing so was deteriorating the whole industry rather than the expression of gratitude to particular clients.
I can't agree more to the contributors of this article.
