Hi colleagues,
I am trying to understand if an IT>EN translation memory in SDL Trados can be used also for a project of reverse combination (EN>IT). If the answer is yes, if the option "Update" from Project settings > Translation Memory is selected, are the various segments (Italian and English) saved automatically in the correct memory fields, or the result is a mix-up (an English/Italian term being stored in the wrong language field)?

Add as anyTM?

I'm no expert but I've added a memory in the reverse language pair as anyTM before, and now in my TM folder I see a new memory called xxxxxxx.anyTMReverse, which works as expected.
