Hi there!



How can I translat an Excel file with Trados 5?

You´ll need Trados 5.5 and free ad called T-Window for Excel Jun 21, 2002

As you have TRADOS 5, it should be no problem with upgrading to TRADOS 5.5, because the upgrade is free, and you can download the T-Window-Collection for free, including T-Window for Excel, T-Window for executables and some more.

The easiest way would be to contact TRADOS directly for the link and password needed to upgrade. But usually they have written anybody who purchased TRADOS 5.0 and registered and gave the necessary information.
