SDL Studio 2014 does not start anymore

Dear colleagues,
I am working on a project in SDL Studio 2014. So far, everything has been smooth as ever but after my lunch break I wanted to restart Studio and got the error message "App could not be opened on your PC". I have never experience this before! Even after restarting my PC the error message is still being displayed. Does anyone have an idea what's wrong here?
